              EDUCATION PROGRAMMES.

COMMUNITY RELIEF Network Uganda provides cost effective education through bursaries

We provide bursaries to the needy students through networking in this case we work hand in hand with the community, institutions, schools, local leaders and parents and see that our children prosper through education.

Bursaries are only for the needy children like;

v     1 orphan and other vulnerable child.

v     2. Less privileged families.

v     3. abandoned children.

v     4. School Dropout

WE ALSO HAVE HOME BASED CAREER EDUCATION PROGRAMMES .

This is however under COMMUNITY BASED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

In this case no experience, qualification, testimonials waned but only to those having interest in pursuing knowledge in home improvement, job creation and development studies.

     NB. Under this programme a trainee has to buy materials to be used while on he      her /  his coursework.

This is always a minimal contribution from the trainee.

 

HOUSE KEEPING.

In this case community members are being trained how to keep their homes successfully and some of these courses include.

v     Child Caring.

v     Family planning.

v     Behavior Aspects.

v     Succession.

v     Will making.

v     House arrangements and cleanliness.

v     How to construct saving mud stoves in their homes.

v     Type – Tapping.

v     Adult education.

v     Social aspects.

v     Home management & improvement

v     Counseling & guidance.

v     Domestic Violence and Legal Advice

 

HAIRDRESSING TRAINNING

v     Hair plaiting.

v     Weaving.

v     Hair-d0.

v     Hair maintenance.

 

Art projects

v     Fine art.

v     Tie and Dye.

v     Seasonal cards.

v     Flower arrangements.

v     Designing and screen printing.

 

TAILORING.

Community member are being trained in tailoring and designing.

 

JOB FREATION

v     How to start your own business.

v     How to maintain your business.

v     Book keeping and accounting.

v     Business Skills.

v     Marketing and market segmentation.

v     Entrepreneurship.

This is normally done through workshops, conferences and co-operate groups in villages.

 

NB: Normally after training in job creation community members are also taught about saving skills.

English, Swahili and Luganda are always being used while carrying out such trainings programmes.
